Cooper considers himself a perpetual student of anatomy. He attended The Swedish Institute of Health Sciences in New York City studying anatomy, neurology, pathology, myofascial tissue manipulation, shiatsu, reflexology, polarity, and qi gong while working in the school library. He returned to Philadelphia in 2010 to begin practicing as a licensed massage therapist. Other therapeutic techniques that he has cultivated and refined include proficiencies in Craniosacral Therapy and Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique (S.M.R.T.).
As a professional percussionist, Cooper is grounded by natural rhythms and flows. This facility paired with his massage skills provides his clients with subtle, quiet and effective releases within the many cycles in which we find ourselves. Whether you are familiar with or new to bodywork, you will be moved by the profoundly relaxing and healing results of a massage session with Cooper.
